From 8 to 11 March 2023, the 18th edition of Klimahouse 2023 will be held at Fiera Bolzano, which has become a reference point for renovation and energy efficiency in the building industry. The international event is a full immersion in the latest trends in building and sustainable living.
Four days in which designers and technicians from the construction and architecture world will be able to find inspiration and keep up to date with the latest methodological and technological innovations in the sector. An opportunity also for individuals who will be able to understand how building well also means living better.
Innovate in the name of sustainability
This year, four transversal thematic focuses of great international relevance will act as a leitmotif that will animate the exhibition halls of Klimahouse 2023 and the contents of the Klimahouse Stage, a stage between the aisles dedicated to professional updating, training and information.
Starting from innovation in the building industry which, as usual, finds its maximum expression in this showcase for the new products and systems of the sector. From insulation materials to windows, from air conditioning and air quality systems to digital technological solutions for intelligent building management and the best startups.
The Klimahouse Prize, in collaboration with the Milan Polytechnic, will crown the excellence of the most avant-garde products and exhibitors, capable of innovating in the name of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. The jury, chaired by Professor Niccolò Aste of the Polytechnic, will be made up of experts in the energy-building-environment sector and, again this year, an under 35 juror.
The energy efficiency of buildings
The energy challenge will be the second leitmotiv of Klimahouse 2023 https://www.fierabolzano.it/it/klimahouse to animate the spaces of the event and the many dedicated appointments. The cost of energy and the fight against climate change require the sector to play its part in the transition towards saving and abandoning fossil fuels, rethinking the way we produce and use energy inside buildings.
The challenge facing Italy’s energetic building stock is enormous. According to data from the latest Report on Energy Efficiency of Enea Buildings with data relating to 2021, despite the slight improvement driven by the Superbonus, 58% of our buildings are included in the worst energy classes (F and G).
The theme of the energy challenge will also be addressed in the context of the Klimahouse Congress, an appointment to be held on 10 and 11 March at the MEC-Meeting & Event Center and which, thanks to the intervention of the leading experts in the sector, will explain how it is possible aim at energy self-sufficiency thanks to renewable sources.
On the occasion of Klimahouse 2023, interesting moments of thematic study are also planned, including guided visits to virtuous buildings of local architectures that have made wood and low environmental impact their soul as part of the Klimahouse Tours.
