In Florence from 4 to 6 February, Taste 16 – Traveling with the diversity of taste will be hosted for the second time in the scenography of Fortezza da Basso. A choice in continuity with the winter editions of Pitti Immagine Uomo, Pitti Immagine Bimbo, Pitti Immagine Filati.
There will be 538 exhibitors, of which 100 will be participating for the first time, and an increasingly international presence of buyers also arriving from emerging markets. Q

A new scenography
As already underlined, the organizers have reconfirmed Fortezza da Basso as the location. A choice that has allowed the event to grow and expand into an elegant and welcoming exhibition itinerary. And to be recognized as an ideal place for discovery and business for an audience of high-level international industry experts.
“Taste 16 has shed its skin, while remaining true to itself – underlined Agostino Poletto, general manager of Pitti Immagine. – The transition from the Stazione Leopolda to the Fortezza da Basso, which became necessary during the pandemic, offered us the right opportunity for the show to express its full potential. The new scenography was primarily appreciated by the companies. In fact, 90% of the 2022 participants also returned to this edition. Furthermore, the spaces of the Fortezza da Basso have made it possible to insert as many as 100 interesting novelties. The new entrants were selected with the usual rigor with direct scouting or by evaluating the more than 250 requests for participation that we received”.
More and more international buyers
Buyers from the most important specialized shops, food distribution companies, department stores and importers of Italian excellence will arrive in the Tuscan capital during Taste 16 https://taste.pittimmagine.com/.
Among the reference markets: United States, France, United Kingdom, China and Arab Emirates. And among the new markets present at this edition, buyers and food professionals are expected from Brazil, India, Poland, Singapore and Kyrgyzstan.
