
The Vicenzaoro January 2023 edition – The Jewelery Boutique Show ended on 24 January, confirming itself as the event that opens the world calendar of business appointments in the gold sector. Organized by the Italian Exhibition Group, the event, which began on 20 January, was held simultaneously with T.Gold and Vo Vintage (which ended on the 23rd).
Vicenzaoro January 2023 edition: growing from abroad
According to the first data, this year’s edition is confirmed as a record edition, surpassing even the already high expectations of the eve.
The whole world of jewelery has therefore returned to Vicenza: foreign buyers have doubled compared to the 2022 edition (+105%); it is a historical record in attendance with +11.5% compared to the pre-pandemic edition of January 2020. And this despite the duration of the 2023 fair being one day shorter.
The foreign presence is close to 60% of the total, with visitors arriving from 136 countries. In particular, Europe is worth 54.5%, the Middle East 9.5%, Asia 9%, Turkey 9%, North America 7.2%, Africa 5.4 % and Latin America 4.7%.
Among the individual countries most represented at Vicenzaoro January 2023 edition www.vicenzaoro.com the United States and Turkey, from Europe Greece, Germany, Spain, UK and France, from the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Saudi Arabia, from ‘Asia India, Japan and Thailand.
The Italian presence is also positive, where the regions of Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio and Sicily stand out with growth of more than 20% compared to pre-pandemic.
T.Gold and a Vo Vintage consolidate
In this edition, T.Gold, an international showcase of innovation, with the most advanced machinery for goldsmithing and the most recent processes applied to gold and jewels, organized in partnership with A.F.E.M.O., saw the exhibition area grow by 10%.
Instead, VO Vintage is consolidating, an event dedicated to vintage watches and jewelery open to the B2C public, with collectors, experts and watch lovers from Italy and the world.
The total media contacts exceeded 224 million gross and the views of the professional operators of the exhibitor profiles on the B2B platform The Jewelery Golden Cloud exceeded 200 thousand.
Numbers that make market players look to the future with optimism, with 1,300 exhibiting brands and 400 hosted foreign buyers. Vicenzaoro January 2023 edition will meet the community from 8 to 12 September next. Meanwhile, the second edition of JGT Dubai, from 12 to 14 February at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) and Oroarezzo, from 13 to 16 May, is already in the starting blocks.
