Lineapelle New York: the Lineapelle network opens the one day event of Lineapelle London in 2023, scheduled at the Ham Yard Hotel on Tuesday 24 January. Thus the centrality of the reference events for the global fashion and design industry of the international trade fair system is strengthened with the fashion shows of the collections of leathers, fabrics, synthetic materials, accessories and complements dedicated to the 2024 summer season. The London event introduces the edition number 42 of Lineapelle New York, which returns from Wednesday 1 to Thursday 2 February, at the Metropolitan Pavilion, in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. There will be over 100 exhibiting companies from not only the United States, but also from Italy, France, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, Turkey, Brazil. This event – considered niche, but important for the sector – precedes and launches the 101st edition of Lineapelle Milano, scheduled from 21 to 23 February next at Fieramilano Rho.

The US market

The main production sector present at Lineapelle New York is the tanning sector, for which the US market is confirmed as a solid destination.
This is confirmed by the data processed by UNIC – Italian Tanneries relating to the first 9 months of last year. A period during which the export of made in Italy leathers to the USA amounted to over 145 million euros, equal to + 7.2% compared to 2021 and + 5% compared to 2019, thus demonstrating that it has recovered and surpassed pre-pandemic business levels.

The 2024 summer collections

The new collections presented by the exhibitors at Lineapelle New York will concern Summer 2024, which promises to be a season where colors will be the real protagonists.
The trends, as usual, will be presented and explored during the three stylistic seminars scheduled for February 1st (11am and 2pm), February 2nd (11am) and materially declined within the Trend Area set up on Level 2 of the salon.
Spaces where exhibitors will present launches and innovations of their production, proposing samples and materials that bear witness to the development of increasingly circular and traceable products.
Lineapelle New York is organized by the Lineapelle trade fair body and by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group who recently signed a collaboration agreement to give impetus and development to the American edition of Lineapelle. The goal is also to make Lineapelle New York a point of reference not only for the American fashion supply chain, but also for furniture and interior design.
