On the occasion of the 98th Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags, the main international event dedicated to volume footwear, leather goods and accessories which will be held in Riva del Garda from 14 to 17 January.
Organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, the event – with over 40 countries represented among the exhibiting companies and visitors arriving from over 100 countries – is the first appointment on the international trade fair calendar and a European crossroads of trade for the sector, recognized by the world’s largest production districts as an important meeting and business platform thanks to the vast international offer.
Collaboration with Retail Hub
Among the peculiarities of the 98th Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags is innovation, at the center of the Innovation Village Retail, a project open to start-ups, companies, institutions and professionals designed to share the culture of innovation between emerging realities and established players.
A place where you can get to know and come into contact with the most cutting-edge technological realities in a sector that is always future-oriented.
The initiative is carried out in partnership between Riva del Garda Fierecongressi and Retail Hub, a vertical start-up in the retail world in constant search of the most disruptive start-ups, scale-ups and unicorns, making them emerge, accompanying them in the go to market and then putting them in contact with big companies. Retail Hub has therefore identified and selected 8 start-ups, among those that participated in the tender, present at the Innovation Village Retail which, in addition to the exhibition area, will also have the opportunity to present their product or service in front of the 98th Expo public Riva Schuh & Gardabags https://exporivaschuh.it/it and a jury of industry experts.

ACBC, BCorp in sustainability applied to the fashion industry that assists more than 40 global footwear and accessories brands in their sustainability process; the HopShop app helps shoppers find and buy any fashion product from images and videos. And again: iHeel, the first extendable heel in the world that allows the shoe to adapt to the user’s needs. These are some of the 8 realities present at the fair and selected by Retail Hub, protagonists of the space dedicated to innovation, and who will have pitch moments available to tell their stories and thus participate in the Startup Competition.
