Prowinter 2023 was presented in a livestreaming press conference, the event that from 11 to 12 January will bring the B2B world of winter sports to meet in the pavilions of Fiera Bolzano for the 23rd edition of the fair.
An appointment that changes date, as underlined by Thomas Mur, director of Fiera Bolzano. A change motivated by a different international scenario, by a global market for raw materials that has influenced the entire production chain, by the manufacturing companies themselves that have had to reorganize processing and distribution times. As a result, shops and rentals have also been forced to reschedule their orders.
Based on all this, the organizers of Prowinter 2023 have decided to double their commitment and place the first of the two appointments on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 January. “The target of visitors will, as usual, be the rental of winter sports items, but with a strong expansion towards retail, i.e. shopkeepers who want to preview the collections for the 2023/24 season” Mur recalled again.
The opinion of the sector
Positive feedback from the snow brands that will take part in the fair, as supported by Corrado Macciò, president of Pool Sci Italia: “Most of the companies of Pool Sci Italia will be present under the aegis of the consortium. Bringing the dates of the fair forward to January means having understood the new needs of the market which has seen a shift of axis and dynamics”.
The rental sector also confirms its participation in the event. Representing the sector Stefano Patella, rent manager of Decathlon Italia, recalled how Prowinter 2023 https://www.fierabolzano.it/it/prowinter/home represents an opportunity to meet all operators and professionals in the sector and expand one’s network.
