Winescape 2023 the special area, dedicated to wine and wine tourism which expands the offer with oil tourism, returns to Hospitality – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza, scheduled in Riva del Garda (Tn) from 6 to 9 February. This event will also be joined by the other special areas Solobirra and Riva Pianeta Mixology. The international fair, one of the main ones for the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, will therefore flank the wineries with 10 selected oil mills. All united by the ability to make tourism through experiences that enhance the cultural, landscape and economic heritage of the area. The area was created with the collaboration of realities such as Slow Food Trentino Alto Adige, the Consorzio Vignaioli del Trentino and Fivi – the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers.

A more innovative tourism

Visitors to Winescape 2023 will be able to get in touch with Italian companies which, with their offer, combine wine production and hospitality. All of this between accommodation immersed in the vineyards and services related to wine tourism.
Furthermore, after the last edition, the area will once again enrich the exhibition space in 2023 with a wine cellar reserved for tastings led by professional sommeliers.
Next to the cellars, the space reserved for oil and tourism. Developed in collaboration with the Consorzio Turismo dell’Olio Evo Igp, Dop and Bio, the event involves olive producers who have been able to enhance their product from a touristic but innovative point of view, combining quality and craftsmanship and involving guests beyond simple tasting.
During the days of Hospitality – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza, the Winescape 2023 Arena will host appointments, debates, presentations and masterclasses with hospitality and catering experts to address issues related to wine and oil tourism.

Workshop of ideas for operators

“Extra virgin olive oil tourism has great possibilities for expansion, similar to those existing for wine – is the comment of the exhibition manager Giovanna Voltolini -. Wine tourism constitutes a sector which alone is worth 2.5 billion euros a year, it is now known that large investments are also underway in the world of oil by companies that have understood the growth potential of the sector also in tourist key. For this reason, we wanted to expand Winescape 2023 making it even more a laboratory of ideas and tools for sector operators who want to expand and diversify their offer towards experiential tourism”.
