
International Tourism Exchange: the press conference to present BIT 2023 was held yesterday at the Luigi Rovati Foundation in Milan with the participation of Luca Palermo Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Fiera Milano, Valentina Superti Director of Tourism & Proximity, DG GROW European Commission , Magda Antonioli Vice-President of the European Travel Commission and Daniela Santanchè Minister of Tourism.
From 12 to 14 February 2023 at Allianz MiCo returns BIT Borsa Internazionale del Turismo, the reference event for the sector in Italy.
In addition to confirming itself as the leading global marketplace for Italian products, the next edition of the fair brings together a large representation of all supply chains under one roof, from Italian regions to foreign tourism bodies, from consortia to private operators, hotels or carriers.
During the three days of the International Tourism Exchange the sellers will present the best of an offer capable of responding to the evolving needs of travelers in a context that combines a complete overview of the sector with vertical thrusts and a focus on emerging niches. All thanks to the three macro-exhibition areas Leisure, with proposals from destinations and operators, BeTech for digital services and start-ups and the MICE Village, dedicated to business travel.
Hundreds of buyers expected from all over the world. Particularly large attendances are expected from the USA, Spain, France, Canada and Germany. Among the other most represented markets are also Poland, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands.
Key theme: sustainability
The great attention to sustainability will be the common thread of the International Tourism Exchange https://bit.fieramilano.it/ with proposals for an attentive traveler, who wants to experience the destination not “as a tourist”, but with the same respect and authenticity of the premises. A theme that ranges from slow tourism to affordable luxury, from bleisure to nature and the outdoors.
