BolognaFiere consolidates its presence in the USA with the Cosmoprof brand. In fact, it has been officially signed among the three main organizers of B2B fairs – BolognaFiere, Informa Markets and PBA-Professional Beauty Association – who team up to increase the offer of events for the cosmetic industry in the United States.
Starting next January, BolognaFiere will pool the group’s know-how and experience to build together with the two partners an event format suitable for the new needs of operators in the cosmetics industry.

An increasingly international system

The joint venture will involve Cosmoprof North America, until now organized by BolognaFiere and PBA, and Premiere Beauty, an Informa group event dedicated to the local professional sector.
The agreement stems from a development project for the BolognaFiere group and is developed through synergies and collaborations with the major exhibition organizers in the world. “The Cosmoprof brand is an integral part of the group’s international development process, thanks to its widespread presence in the main markets – as underlined by Antonio Bruzzone, general manager of BolognaFiere”.
Suffice it to say that in the days in which the agreement was signed, Cosmoprof Asia was inaugurated, which this year takes place in Singapore, with over 1,200 companies. While in recent months Cosmoprof North America in Las Vegas, Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN in Bangkok and Cosmoprof India in Mumbai have taken place.

A wider offer

Overall, the platform with the Cosmoprof brand involves over 10,000 companies and 500,000 professionals in more than 190 countries. By strengthening the collaboration with Informa and PBA, already partners, the exhibition offer will be implemented in the United States.
“By offering our companies further business opportunities in a market that is today deeply active and dynamic, which in 2021 saw sales at 1+6%, and which by 2025 should exceed 716 billion dollars”.
The joint venture between BolognaFiere, Informa Markets and PBA will work on the events scheduled in the USA in 2023. These include the fairs in Anaheim (California, 2-3 April), Premiere Beauty in Orlando (Florida, 3-5 June), Cosmoprof North America (Las Vegas, July 11-13), San Antonio (Texas, October 1-2), Columbus (Ohio, October 8-9), Birmingham (Alabama, date to be defined).
