Pitti Uomo 103: “the SIGN” and “PittiPets” make their debutThe winter edition of Pitti Uomo 103 will take place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 10 to 13 January 2023. In these four days the event, a reference for men’s and lifestyle, will host the protagonists of international menswear, the main brands and the most innovative projects, with a program of previews, events and appointments not to be missed.
Also next year, attention will be focused on the exhibition itinerary that develops in the Fortezza to show a complete preview of the new men’s collections. As of 14 November, the total number of brands present amounted to 759, of which 40% came from abroad. All the brands participating in the Fortezza da Basso exhibition are also present on the Pitti Connect digital platform.
Pitti Uomo 103 also broadens the itinerary with special projects that intercept new lifestyle trends.
Like the return of “I GO OUT”, a section dedicated to the world of sophisticated outdoor clothing, while the sections Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling and the S|Style area, focused on eco fashion, are reconfirmed and expanded -responsible.
Among the absolute novelties are the special areas “the SIGN” and “PittiPets”, which broaden the boundaries of the event, enriching it with contents.
Two new exhibition projects
Pitti Uomo 103, in collaboration with the communication agency Ghost Studio, presents the SIGN, a new special area dedicated to the most innovative, unexpected and indispensable objects, furnishings and style. A selected proposal of brands and realities able to inspire and offer new creative and business inputs. The area will be inserted in the Sala delle Nazioni, within the path of the Superstyling section, which brings together the research collections of Pitti Uomo 103.
PittiPets or the fashion side of the world of pets. A special area dedicated to the world that revolves around dogs and cats will be staged at the Polveriera, designed by Ilaria Marelli, architect and designer who has signed important installations for international lifestyle brands. A new exhibition project that turns the spotlight on a selection of 15 brands that with their creations – clothing, accessories, pet care products, objects and furnishings for the home – are revolutionizing the world of pets.
The role of the Government and of ICE
Also at Pitti Uomo 103 https://uomo.pittimmagine.com/ the Italian government and ICE, the agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies, are promoting the role of Florence in the internationalization strategy of Italian fashion through the support for the 2023 winter exhibitions, a fundamental contribution to the incoming program of the best foreign operators, communication and special events.
