From 17 to 19 November in Fiera Bolzano, thanks to the Variety Garden initiative, the 12th Interpoma event will be filled with colour. In fact, on the occasion of the international apple fair, the FieraMesse H1 Eventspace at Fiera Bolzano will host an exhibition of over 55 Managed Varieties from the main apple producing countries. From New Zealand to the United States, passing through France and Italy with South Tyrol and Trentino as protagonists.
The Interpoma Variety Garden is the latest addition scheduled for the 12th Interpoma and is organized in collaboration with SK Südtirol – Alto Adige Varietal Innovation Consortium and the Laimburg Experimentation Centre.
The undisputed star of the new area will be colour. The fruits on display will in fact present a very wide range of shades, from the bright yellow of the varieties marketed under the yello and opal brands, to the fresh and bright green of the GreenStars, to the dark and intense red of the Crimson Snow®, ending with the new apples red pulp Red Moon, Kissabel and LucyGlo.
At the 12th Interpoma, the second edition of ipoma magazine
Variety Garden is part of the wide range of initiatives planned during the 12th edition of the event. Another initiative to remember is the second edition of ipoma magazine, the fair’s official magazine.
Published for the first time during Interpoma Connects 2020 and printed 100% on apple paper, the debut issue offered a report dedicated to the future of the apple industry in South Tyrol. It also dedicated space to some characters who live the world of apples with great passion. Like the “apple scout” Markus Bradlwarter or the apple researcher Kurt Werth.
A successful product, awarded with the Silver Award of the “Best of Content Marketing Award 2021” as an excellent “Corporate Magazine of the Year”.
