The program of the 51th Mido, the international eyewear show that will take place from 4 to 6 February at Fiera Milano Rho, is being defined. During the 51st event there will be many opportunities for debate, reflection, exchange and sharing designed and aimed at opticians from all over the world. A target that visits the fair every year in search of news and trends in the sector and above all to make commercial agreements and do business.
In fact, the entire eyewear chain is represented in the exhibition halls: from manufacturers of lenses and machinery to large international manufacturers of optical frames and sunglasses and small independent designers.
The OttiClub will be the space where training and sharing moments with industry professionals will be organized, while the famous squares of the fair will be the place for meeting, dialogue and even fun.

Reconfirmations and news

If the program relating to conferences, events and meetings is still being defined, the exhibition areas of the 51th Mido and the pavilions are confirmed.
In fact, there will be 6 pavilions of Fiera Milano Rho – one more than in the previous edition – on which the exhibition will be developed, which also returns to occupy its “historic” position within the fair, with installations in pavilions 1 and 3, 2 and 4, 6 and 10.
The exhibition areas of the Fashion District, Design Tech, Design Lab, Lenses, FAiR East, Tech, Lab Academy and Start Up have also been confirmed.
The latter, introduced last year, welcomes emerging players within an eco-sustainable setting made with recycled and recyclable materials, in line with the path that the event has taken since 2019.
Another space will also be dedicated to the younger brands, promoted by the ICE Agency and the fair, which presents the start-up windows selected by the Agency.
Nominations were also open for the 51th Mido www.mido.com BeStore award, assigned by an international jury of experts to the optical centers that offer the best shopping experience, for the “Design” category, and the most attentive customer services for the “Innovation” category.
Now in its second edition, the Stand Up For Green award will also be awarded, recognition of the most sustainable stand in terms of attention to environmental impact and the use of materials.
