It ended on November 6 at Veronafiere Fieracavalli 2022. The edition number 124 began on November 3 and consolidated its leadership as the reference international event for the equestrian sector.
In four days, 140,000 presences were reached, with arrivals from as many as 57 countries. For the exhibition it is a return to the traditional format, after the 2021 version on two weekends, with quota admissions for the pandemic, which had registered 100 thousand visitors.
The new Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Francesco Lollobrigida inaugurated the event.

Fieracavalli 2022: entertainment and breeders

Two hundred events that animated the 12 pavilions of the fair. There are many top-level sports competitions such as the only Italian stage of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup, morphological competitions, western disciplines, shows and educational activities.
Fieracavalli 2022 saw numerous initiatives on the entertainment front for the whole family, with performances in the outdoor areas, the evening Gold Gala and evening openings with the regional gastronomic offer of food trucks.
The breeders’ sector was, as always, the absolute protagonist thanks to 2,400 horses of 60 international breeds that showed Italian and foreign biodiversity, with the help of 35 associations.
The public also found the best of equestrian equipment and the best offers for saddle tourism, presented by 700 companies from 25 countries.

Fieracavalli 2022: a new way of doing tourism

From Munich to Verona, from Abruzzo to Valle d’Aosta and from Tuscany to Austria: there are endless testimonies of a new way of doing tourism, from the top of a saddle, rediscovering the pleasure of slow travel presented in the new Area AGSM AIM Forum – Riding Sustainability | Dialogues on the sustainable future of the equestrian world.
Fieracavalli 2022 https://fieracavalli.it/en/ proposed interviews, meetings and round tables in this space to highlight the beauty of Italy, but not only, to be discovered from the top of a saddle. The actress Matilde Gioli, who traveled the first permanent urban horse trail in Italy sponsored by the municipality of Verona, also appreciated the horse farm.
A 15 km itinerary lasting 4 hours, accessible to all lovers of horse trekking, starting from Lungadige Attiraglio (Corte Molon), arriving in Piazza Bra and returning to the Parco dell’Adige Nord, to discover Verona and the the Adige river that crosses it.
The next edition of Fieracavalli is scheduled from 2 to 5 November 2023.
