The 1th edition NME -Next Mobility Exhibition, organized by Fiera Milano and dedicated to sustainable collective mobility, took place in the Milan Rho exhibition center from 12 to 14 October.
The biennial international event is aimed at the entire collective mobility chain to give concrete technological and system answers to the demand for sustainable mobility.
During the three days we talked about perspectives, scenarios and innovation, bringing together public and private in a city that in Europe is the leader of green and integrated solutions.

The National Center for Sustainable Mobility
The National Center for Sustainable Mobility, a reality that unites public and private sectors, was also presented in the final plenary session of the 1th edition NME -Next Mobility Exhibition.
25 universities and related research centers have joined forces with 24 large companies active in the field of mobility and infrastructure, with the aim of accompanying the green and digital transition of the sector from a sustainable perspective.
This is an ambitious project, which envisages an investment of 394 million euros for the first 3 years (2023-2025) and the involvement of 696 researchers from partner institutions and 574 new hires. A project that aims to represent a real tool for growth and development in a key sector such as that of mobility, which is estimated to reach a total national value of 220 billion euros in 2030, absorbing 12% of the workforce in Italy. .
The Center will be structured with a central point in Milan and 14 nodes distributed throughout the national territory, to guarantee that territorial rebalancing which is among the priorities of the NRP.
