
Marmomac 2022, the international exhibition dedicated to the stone sector, closed on 30 September in Verona. Internationality, business, innovation and sustainability characterized the fair in the new midweek location.
The 56th show closed with 47 thousand professional operators, 49% more than in 2021. Of these, 63% came from abroad, up 97% in absolute value compared to the previous edition, representing 132 nations . Over 1,200 exhibiting companies present in the 10 pavilions and in the four outdoor areas.
Veronafiere has once again become the engine of the sector, supporting the international development of an industrial chain and generating economic returns for its city and territory as well.

In fact, the 10-point programmatic document of the Sustainability Manifesto of authentic natural stone, signed by the companies of the PNA Network, to which Veronafiere also adheres, was presented.
A project that aims to create an environmental declaration of the stone product, with the commitment by the companies in the sector to adopt a certified and circular production cycle, with increasingly limited environmental impacts on air, water and emissions. of CO2 overall.
