
The Salone Nautico Genova 2022, organized by Confindustria Nautica and I Saloni Nautici, from 22 to 27 September, closed an edition that capitalized on the work done by the trade association in recent years.
The numbers of the 62nd edition
The six days of the event saw 168 events including conferences, seminars, technical workshops, conferences, presentations and 4,463 sea trials. 145 foreign buyers from 19 countries and an area dedicated to 10 start-ups at the service of companies were present.
In terms of communication, there were 1,117 accredited journalists, 644 articles published only during the period of the fair, of which 154 in newspapers, 11 hours of television services dedicated to the event.
Record numbers also for the TV of the Salone Nautico Genova 2022 which, at https://sntv.salonenautico.com/, on the Sole 24 Ore website and on Corriere.it, broadcast live streaming, interviews and services every day on conferences, products and news. One million and 188 thousand page views displayed on the institutional website, 230,000 connected users, over 1,766,868 people reached on official social channels in the period 1-26 September.
Waiting for the 2023 edition
Saverio Cecchi, president of Confindustria Nautica and the Salone Nautico Genova 2022: “It was a show that was not only beautiful but above all efficient. In an exceptional moment for the nautical sector, which grew by 31.1%, with a turnover of 6.1 billion euros and a workforce that grew by 9.7%, visitors increased by 10.7% to 103,812 ( data recorded at 11 on September 27, ed), above all contracts have been closed “. A credit to be attributed to teamwork – recalled Cecchi -, which includes Confindustria Nautica, the Boat Shows, the Liguria Region, the Municipality and the Chamber of Commerce of Genoa. This is the team that will also sign and design the 2023 edition, scheduled from 21 to 26 September next year.
