The Rho exhibition center is preparing to host NME 2022 – Next Mobility Exhibition, a new event organized by Fiera Milano, which will be held from 12 to 14 October next. On show full electric and hydrogen vehicles, digital and AI applications designed to measure for LPT, sharing, up to the future scenarios of air taxis.
The mobility of people is profoundly changing and it does so with two main objectives, efficiency and sustainability. A key development issue, on which the PNRR is also focusing with 32.4 billion euros for local public transport.
As recalled by the CEO of Fiera Milano, by Luca Palermo: “NME 2022 at Fiera Milano for three days will turn the spotlight on energy transition, new means, innovative current and future mobility systems, therefore themes and technologies capable of creating solutions more inclusive, efficient and sustainable. The goal is a cultural change, of which our event wants to be the driving force and aggregator. A proposal that the market has welcomed with enthusiasm. In fact, already in this first edition we can count on the presence of over 90 brands, including important companies that are driving this change “.

NME 2022: environmental sustainability at the center

The biennial international event dedicated to the collective mobility sector will offer concrete technological and system answers to the demand for sustainable mobility. We will talk about perspectives, scenarios and innovation, bringing together public and private in a city that in Europe is the leader of green and integrated solutions.
Environmental sustainability will therefore be the central focus on which the entire exhibition and training offer of this first edition will revolve. Transition that the fair will analyze from several perspectives: electricity, gas, hydrogen and biofuels with zero impact, but also new current mobility systems (sharing and micro-mobility) and future ones, such as urban air mobility.
The two exhibition pavilions dedicated to NME 2022 https://www.nextmobilityexhibition.com/ will therefore allow you to have a broad vision of technologies, innovation and means that will circulate on European roads in the near future.
There are many bus manufacturers present with vehicles intended for both urban and tourist collective transport.
Ample space also for the protagonists of the energy transition and IT companies, whose digital solutions, often integrated with artificial intelligence solutions, now allow an increasingly efficient and sustainable management – in both environmental and economic terms – of public transport.

NME 2022: the conference proposal

The heart of the three days of the exhibition will also be the training program, conceived by the Scientific Technical Committee chaired by Pierluigi Coppola (Milan Polytechnic, Department of Mechanics) and which includes international associations, departments, academic realities and much more.
To open the conference “Drivers for sustainable and innovative mobility”, which aims to offer the tools to be put in place, right away, to reactivate the demand for public transport.
