100a Lineapelle, from 20 to 22 September at Fieramilano Rho, was yet another demonstration of how the show represents, as stated in the closing note, “a solid certainty for the fashion, luxury and design chain”.
A shared certainty, even in a market moment “dominated by worrying critical issues, by its 1,134 exhibitors” and by “visitors from 109 countries”, in strong growth compared to the last edition. A reassuring vitality, therefore, and a demonstration of real futureability.

In total, the organizers of 100a Lineapelle report, through the voice of CEO Fulvia Bac hi, “the volume of attendance was 32% higher than that of last February’s edition”. This feedback “shows, by virtue of + 73% of arrivals from abroad (added to + 10% from Italy) and subject to some mandatory absences (Chinese buyers, for example), how the event has put itself into the pandemic behind.
In particular, there is a strong growth in entries from operators from the United States, India, Mexico, Turkey and from all the main European markets, from France to Great Britain, from Portugal to Spain ”.
Very interesting, according to the organizers of 100a Lineapelle, is the generalized feedback of a significant lowering of the average age of visitors: younger, motivated and, above all, competent buyers and professionals. An important signal for the future of the fair and the entire supply chain ”

Success for events

The many projects with which the event has chosen to celebrate its hundredth edition have aroused interest. For example, “the Trend Areas with their Possible Worlds, the reference mood of the autumn / winter 2023/24 trends” and their new declination in the Metaverse.
Then, the exhibition “The Beauty of the Italian Tanning Industry”, promoted by UNIC – Italian Tanneries.
The talks of the Green Theater at 100a Lineapelle instead explored the theme of sustainability and the sensory suggestions of the Leatherverse conceptual garden from various points of view. Without forgetting the works exhibited in the Lineapelle Art space and the space reserved for the results of training projects conducted in collaboration with London College of Fashion, UAL, IUAV – University of Venice, University of Campania – Luigi Vanvitelli and Tokyo Leather Fair. Excellent feedback also for the third edition of Mipel Lab.
100a Lineapelle was held in synergy with the Milanese fashion fairs, united by the hashtag #finallytogether at Micam, Mipel, TheOneMilano, Simac Tannig Tech, Homi and DaTe. That is, trade fairs organized by the trade associations belonging to Confindustria Moda.
