The 20th Pitti Fragranze edition will take place from 16 to 18 September at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence. The show, which is part of the Pitti Immagine offer, is dedicated to the world of international artistic perfumery and is an event that brings the leading names in the sector and the most prestigious noses to the city.

20th Pitti Fragranze: “The 5 senses issue”
This year – with the theme “The 5 senses issue” – will be an edition full of news, debuts, special guests, events and unmissable talks.
“After a sensorially difficult time – said Agostino Poletto, general manager of Pitti Immagine – in which distance, detachment, absence prevailed, returning to feeling in a total, complete, synergistic way represents a desire, a need, a new-found opportunity. This is the message we launch with The 5 senses issue. Because living an experience deeply, without isolating a meaning, but listening to it as part of everything, like a concert of information, amplifies the perception and excites. Long last”.
20th Pitti Fragranze: Alessandro Gualtieri “The Nose” special guest
Pitti Fragranze 2022 www.pittimmagine.com is in fact conceived as an amplified experience of the senses. There will be many novelties presented by the leading companies and brands, almost 160 ranging from the world of fragrances to the beauty lifestyle.
Alessandro Gualtieri aka The Nose, author of Nasomatto and Orto Parisi, is the special guest 2022. For this year’s edition he has designed “The alchemical wall”, an interactive physical experience that people will be able to experience at the Stazione Leopolda in the three salon days.
The 5 senses issue also inspired a visual communication campaign in which material brushstrokes trace imaginary petals, ready to disintegrate to suggest something else. A line that goes beyond the surface becomes substance, emanates perfumes, pigments, it almost lets itself be touched.
With references to the ‘informal’ roses of Sergio Scatizzi, to the dripping polychrome of “Cherry Blossom” by Damien Hirst. And in the claims accompanying this edition, perceptions deliberately intersect, integrate, add up: “Smell my eyes, Hear my skin, Touch my scent, See my lips, Taste my smell.”
