“More than thirty years ago, in 1988 – recalled Gianpiero Calzolari, president of BolognaFiere – we had the intuition to be the first in our sector to address the issues of organic, natural, and sustainability. Today that choice shows itself to be an avant-garde that no one can escape from, because it is on those issues that the future of our planet is at stake. The drought afflicting the Po valley and spreading in the center of Italy is one of the dramatic effects of climate change. He reminds us that we have a duty, as producers and as consumers, to proceed quickly towards the commitments of sustainable transition ”.
