At Fieramilano Rho, from 20 to 22 September 2022, Lineapelle edition 100 crosses the milestone of 100 editions. An edition that will welcome about 1,100 exhibitors – against 960 in February 2022 – and offering a rich and synergistic agenda of events and activities including style, innovation and culture.
“100 editions of the future” for a fair that takes up the challenge of building new, sustainable and responsible supply chain scenarios and that goes beyond the concept of the fair, opening the door to a world of ideas.
A fair that represents yet another reassuring consolidation of the will to restart in a hitherto positive economic moment, but now again characterized by uncertainties.
“Back to the next”
The wait for Lineapelle edition 100, just a few months after its opening, is very high. This can be understood from the dynamism with which the community of its exhibitors has activated, confirming participation. The companies come from 38 countries, divided, from a product point of view, into 556 tanneries, 359 manufacturers of accessories and components, 132 of fabrics and synthetics, 8 chemicals, 35 service companies.
A significant and concrete return to the future that gives greater meaning and strength to the slogan chosen by the manifestation to tell the hundredth edition: “Back to the next”. An invitation to always look beyond, keeping in mind one’s roots.
Among the Lineapelle 100 edition projects www.lineapelle-fair.it that will come to life during the “Lineapelle Leather Days” event. Five days of events and performances that will involve some emerging stylists at the Spazio Lineapelle, in Milan, in Piazza Tomasi di Lampedusa, in collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion. Physical stylistic projects that approach the traditional elaboration of fashion trends by the Lineapelle Fashion Committee for the Fall / Winter 23/24 season.
The trends, summarized by the “Possible Worlds” mood, will be presented at the fair in a hybrid formula. Translated into sample previews displayed in the Trend areas and, at the same time, told through the immersive lens of the metaverse.
Mipel Lab, a hub created by Assopellettieri dedicated to the Italian excellence of leather goods outsourcing, will also return.
The return of the Green Theater
The Green Theater is also back at the fair, a space for presentations and debates with free admission. Here, in the first two days of Lineapelle edition 100, an instant talk schedule lasting half an hour will be hosted. Common denominator: the innovative sustainable approach of the Italian exhibiting companies analyzed at 360 °.
The event will also be the theater (in Pavilion 11) of the exhibition project “The Beauty of the Italian Tanning Industry: Heritage, Science and Design”. The aim is to communicate the “beauty” of a production model that combines craftsmanship and science, green power, technology and creativity: that of the Italian tanning industry.
