
Joy Rimini 2022 edition ended on July 17, an event dedicated to Esports, games, comics, fandoms and communities, scheduled both at the fair and in the area. Started on July 14, the event was sold out by fans, cosplayers and lovers of the geek and nerd world. An event that also involved families with children and casual visitors, thanks to the mix of attractions spread throughout the city. And this is also thanks to the celebration of comics in all its forms with Riminicomix /, the international festival of animated films, comics and games, from 14 to 16 July.
Different areas for all tastes
Signed by Fandango Club Creators and IEG – Italian Exhibition Group, Joy Rimini 2022 edition recorded good results thanks also to the many areas scattered around the city.
For example, over 400 photos were taken in the space dedicated to the Marvel Avengers Campus, a place that attracted fans of the Superheroes of the Marvel universe. A stop for the souvenir photo or the customary selfie, made on the occasion of the new thematic area of Disneyland Paris, inaugurated on 20 July.
While the NERF area, between blaster challenges and obstacle courses with which to measure their skills, has allowed children and teenagers to test themselves. The final of the Nerf Challenge 2022 was also held here on the afternoon of Saturday 16 July. The competition involved kids between 8 and 13 years old from all over Italy in duels with Nerf and Supersoaker blasters. Special guest of the event was creator Martex, who accompanied the participants with a compelling chronicle of the competition.

The most exciting challenges aired non-stop live on the Twitch GameStop TV channel with commentary from streamers Kobe, BE_Frankie and JafarLive, with interviews with special guests, podcasts and lots of gameplay for a total of over 20 hours of streaming . Furthermore, within the Gaming Zone, participants were also able to get to know SBS, which gave the possibility to customize the back of their smartphone with any image or photo with a scratch-resistant film, soft to the touch with a glossy finish.
In the halls of Joy Rimini 2022 edition space also for cosplayers with the 1st Cosplay Contest themed League of Legends, the video game with 180 million players per month. Organized by PG Esports, Italy’s leading tournament organizer, it celebrated the launch of Star Guardian, an exclusive in-game event of the Riot Games video game.
