The data on the final turnout of Pitti Filati 91, which took place from 29 June to 1 July in Florence, in the Fortezza da Basso, recorded very high numbers of buyers who arrived at the Fortezza. Numbers that go in parallel with judgments collected among operators, all marked by positivity and full satisfaction.
During the three days, buyers exceeded 3,000 total admissions, almost double compared to a year ago. Of these 50% arriving from abroad, representing over 50 countries.
Pitti Filati 91: not just business
The self-proclaimed “community of yarn people” is therefore back in Florence.
Furthermore, after two editions – however positive – at the Stazione Leopolda, the return to the Fortezza da Basso has given further energy to this 2022 edition from all points of view.
Not only for the numbers referring to the presence of buyers, and in particular to that of the best international knitwear factories and the style offices of the most important fashion houses in the world. Rather, it is a concert of elements, starting with the quality of the collections and raw materials, ending with technological and stylistic innovation and the ability to see. “A leading trade fair is not just business, supply and demand, orders and payments. It is above all confrontation, exchange of knowledge, broadening of perspectives, culture and imagination, services. At Pitti Filati 91 https://filati.pittimmagine.com/it exhibitors and visitors found all this both in the Spazio Ricerca or in the green competitions dedicated to the most brilliant students of the great international fashion schools “, commented Raffaello Napoleone, to . d. of Pitti Immagine.
