The synergy between Filo 2022 www.filo.it and 35th Milano Unica continues, from 12 to 14 July at Fieramilano Rho, to enhance and strengthen the excellence of the made in Italy textile industry.
Over the years, the synergistic vision between the two events has been consolidated with the identification of themes and opportunities that the market presents to companies.
Among the issues, sustainability is certainly the most obvious and immediate, given the importance it has now acquired among consumers around the world. And this is why for several editions the show dedicated to yarns has chosen to offer only the yarns of the companies that adhere to the FiloFlow sustainability project at the event dedicated to high-end textiles and accessories.
In this 35th Milano Unica, however, there is another element that brings the two appointments even closer. And it is the approach to what were once called “trends”.
In this edition, MU has in fact built its own Trends area starting from the “Seasonless” concept. That is, from overcoming the classic succession of seasons with regard to the proposal and use of fabrics and accessories, through a journey along the Italian manufacturing chain.
It is an approach that Filo has chosen for a long time, focusing in its stylistic proposals on the product and on the processes, in “Creative Dialogues always shared with companies.

The 35th Milano Unica

Milano Unica https://www.milanounica.it/it confirms itself again in this edition as the reference point for high-end textiles and accessories for men and women. And thanks to the trust of entrepreneurs and institutions, this season returns to 3 days, due to the recovery of international markets and the decrease in travel restrictions, which leads to a significant increase in visitors from abroad.
There will also be support from the e-MilanoUnica Connect platform, defined by the president of the event Alessandro Barberis Canonico as “a tool available to companies to support and amplify your international business and relationship activities even after the days of the event”.
The 35th Milano Unica consolidates the system operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and with the ICE Agency for the promotion abroad and for the internationalization of Italian companies.
“It is my desire, in the new scenario that sees the restrictions of recent years loosened, to continue to devote extreme attention to all safety regulations, to protect our activities – concluded Alessandro Barberis Canonico -. With the hope that courage and dedication can bring us back to serenity and support us in facing the new scenario with confidence, I renew my personal thanks to each of you, wishing you a good job “.
