
The 60th edition Salone del Mobile has, among its interpretations of this edition (from 7 to 12 June), also the perfect combination between digital and real. A combination that allows an enhancement of the contents and experiences that happen day by day at the main design fair in the world.
Less than a year after its launch, the digital platform assumes a fundamental role also during the 60th edition of the event. The goal, today more than ever, is to amplify the physical experience of the event thanks to a digital space designed for exhibiting companies, but also dedicated to those who find an international point of reference and meeting point in the event.

The multi-channel platform is updated daily with original editorial content, service information, news from the world of design, company news. An always active showcase for exhibitors, a space that also provides direct streaming of talks, the live story of the Compasso d’Oro through the special installations Designin the Kitchen and Designin the Bathroom, in collaboration with the ADI Museum, and the project sustainable “Design with Nature”, curated by the architect Mario Cucinella.
“We want to inhabit the digital space and amplify the physical experience, involve those who cannot participate at the moment and continue to develop what the show represents throughout the year. That is a crossroads of experiences, a point of reference for companies in the sector, the international avant-garde of those involved in the project “, as explained by the president of the event, Maria Porro.

Thanks to the app, you can buy tickets, access the details of the products on display and scan the QR Codes to get the technical characteristics. Industry operators can book appointments with companies, while it is easier for brands to get in touch with visitors to their stands thanks to matchmaking.
An approach that has involved all the players in the sector in this first year of life: from companies to international magazines, from architecture studios and designers to design critics and the community.
With this in mind, the inaugural show at the Teatro alla Scala was also broadcast live on the platform. As pointed out by Annalisa Rosso, Editorial Director of the digital project: “We are the spokespersons of all those who, at this moment, are shaping the future – physical and digital – in our field”.
