From 20 to 22 September, at Fieramilano Rho, Lineapelle 100 will cross the milestone of its hundredth edition by triggering fashion synergies to promote new stylistic visions. A mission that is confirmed, a few months after the inauguration, in the dynamism with which exhibitors are confirming their presence at the fair.
The world’s leading trade fair for leathers, fabrics, accessories, components for the fashion, design and automotive industries, it is a reference for over 60,000 companies that generate a turnover of over 150 billion dollars / year

100 years well worn

A significant milestone that of 100 years, but the exact opposite of an arrival point.
In September Lineapelle 100, an active part of the trade fair circuit promoted by Confindustria Moda, will return to Milan staging an appointment full of meaning and expectations.
At the moment the number of exhibitors who have confirmed their presence, arriving from around 40 countries, has already exceeded the overall number (960) of the previous edition (last February).
An important sign of vitality for a fair which, in the light of its slogan “Back to the Next”, launches its innovative and sustainable challenge to the future.
A challenge that will have an important preview in Manhattan, at the Metropolitan Pavilion, where Lineapelle New York will take place on 13 and 14 July -July-2022.
Next September, Lineapelle 100 will present the Fall / Winter 2023-2024 trends for leathers, materials, accessories and components for the fashion and luxury industry. An event that will find a further enhancement tool through collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion. Here at Cnmi, from 21 to 27 September, the Milano Moda Donna Spring / Summer 2022 fashion shows will be hosted.
In addition to the concomitance of dates between the two events, in fact, the show will organize fashion shows and performances by some young emerging designers at Spazio Lineapelle (in Palazzo Gorani).

A difficult time

About four months after the appointment with Lineapelle 100, it is still difficult, if not impossible, to predict what type of market and economic situation exhibitors, buyers and visitors will face.
The renewed criticality caused by the pandemic, which blocked China again, and the uncertainty triggered by the war in Ukraine have slowed the post-Covid restart.
To date, companies in the fashion and luxury supply chain face daily destabilization, due to the crazy dynamics of prices and logistics. Factors that complicate the correct management of production programs and the commercial relationship with customers.
