Pitti Uomo 102, the summer edition of the event dedicated to contemporary and international men’s fashion, will take place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 14 to 17 June.
The fair broadens its temporal and physical horizons, proposing new contents and new collaborations, as well as a calendar of international events and launches, which will focus on the most interesting and engaging inputs from the main fashion scenes, as well as creativity and know-how. of internationally renowned companies and designers.
The Florentine appointment returns to take place over four days, thus offering participants the opportunity to organize meetings and visits in an atmosphere of regained serenity.
Even the exhibition spaces of Fortezza da Basso, where the new menswear collections and the whole world of lifestyle at Pitti Uomo 102 will be staged, are once again expanding. As well as the Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling sections, with the S | Style sustainable style project increasingly integrated into the exhibition itinerary.
Maeci and ICE support the summer shows
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE agency enhance the role of Florence in the fashion sector by supporting the Pitti Immagine summer shows. A fundamental contribution for the physical and digital version of the shows, for the incoming programs of foreign operators, for events and promotion.
In addition, Agenzia ICE, for the fifth edition in partnership with the Pitti Tutoring & Consulting management with the “Young Italian Start Up around the World” project, supports a special area at the Fortezza da Basso to enhance Made in Italy start-ups.
Pitti Immagine’s three-year collaboration with UniCredit also continues. The focus of the partnership takes shape at Pitti Uomo 102 https://uomo.pittimmagine.com/ with support for the S | Style sustainable style project, a platform for responsible menswear brands. In addition, the collaboration included a series of appointments at the UniCredit Theater, in Fortezza da Basso. Here, during the days of the show, talks and conversations dedicated to sustainability, innovation, fashion, economy, retail and lifestyle will be presented. ”
Pitti Island is the common thread of the summer shows
An island as a fixed point, a physical and interior point, but above all a meeting and comparison point. This is Pitti Island, the guiding theme of summer 2022, an imaginary island, connected with the whole world in a mutual and constant exchange. The concept, told throughout the communication – adv, video, social – is curated by the creative director Angelo Figus and by the Narente, Lucio Aru and Franco Erre, who have been entrusted with all the visual part.
A production that will also strongly characterize the installations of Pitti Uomo 102 at the Fortezza da Basso, followed by the architect Alessandro Moradei.
