After thanking the management, the operational team and the shareholders for their trust and support, the outgoing president declared: “The approved 2021 budget gives us an economic-financial picture of a trade fair group which, thanks to the capital increase of 30 million euros subscribed by all shareholders and the 31.2 million euros of relief received by the Government at the request of Aefi, it can finally turn its back on the crisis recorded in the last two years, the most serious since its constitution. I am sure that the new president will be able to guide Verona fiere https://www.veronafiere.it/ towards increasingly competitive goals in Italy and abroad. Although the global scenario has changed, the Verona fair confirms itself as a strategic asset for the promotion of the main Made in Italy supply chains represented in the 70 events organized directly in the district and in the 20 in the main demand markets “.

Bricolo: from the institutions to Verona fiere

Born in Verona in 1966, Federico Bricolo has a long career in institutions behind him, which has led him to hold leading positions both in the government, as Undersecretary for Infrastructure and Transport, and in Parliament.
He has also held positions in international bodies, such as OSCE, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Western European Union.
“I am gathering an important and extremely challenging witness in terms of the competitiveness of the fourth Italian trade fair industry, the internationality of Verona fiere brand events and the potential of a company that has become a real promotional brand in the global market over time. Consolidation and growth of Veronafiere, as well as innovation and renewal, will be at the center of my mandate and the action of the high-profile board of directors elected today by the shareholders, to whom I express my gratitude for the position entrusted to me “.
