
Focus on goldsmithing and technology at Oroarezzo 2022, from 7 to 10 May. An edition that marks the return to the presence of the event organized by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group and dedicated to the productive excellence of the Italian and international gold districts.
A format between exhibition, workshop and networking with events at the fair and in the city. Many topics were examined, to offer an opportunity for meeting and relationship between goldsmith professionals.
A future also made of sustainability
Among the many themes at the heart of Oroarezzo 2022 of the event there will also be sustainability, a theme common to most of the production sectors.
It will be discussed on May 8 with Confindustria Federorafi in the technical workshop “Sustainability as a pass for the future”, which will offer a guide to raise awareness of market demands.
The result of the collaboration between IEG and the Aretina Goldsmith Consultancy, the meeting proposes a comparison on certifications in the field of circularity and traceability of precious metals and on the role of the sustainability of the supply chain as a key to enhance the “supply chain” in terms of both creativity and of innovation, especially in the world of luxury.
Design will instead be at the center of the Premiere competition, which will take place at the Sugar headquarters, in Corso Italia in Arezzo.
Among the jewels in the competition, the best interpretation of the theme of the bracelet, in terms of Italian goldsmith manufacturing and design, was decided by TV presenter Jo Squillo. 58 companies that presented their creations at the launch of the jurors, jewelery, fashion and communication professionals.
The Fuori Salone
The Oroarezzo 2022 www.oroarezzo.it experience also continues outside the exhibition center, in the heart of the Tuscan city.
On Monday 9 May, with Confguide Confcommercio Arezzo, IEG will accompany international buyers on a tour experience to discover the cultural and artistic heritage of Arezzo.
In addition, in synergy with the municipal administration and the economic categories of the area, the traditional “Gold Night” welcomes visitors and exhibitors. Conceived and organized by Beppe Angiolini, art director of the city, with Confcommercio, the extraordinary evening opening of the shops is scheduled with special agreements for visitors and exhibitors and live music sessions in the squares of the center.
