The 18th Marca by BolognaFiere opens its doors in Bologna on April 12 and will end on the 13th. An edition involving 5 pavilions, 900 exhibitors and 18 brands of modern distribution.

In 2021, the commercial brand had a turnover of 11.7 billion euros, with a market share of 19.8%, increasing compared to the pre-Covid period, and in line with the record values ​​recorded during the pandemic.

A fair for the whole sector

With over 900 exhibiting companies, the presence of DMO and national and international buyers again this year 18th Marca by BolognaFiere is confirmed as the reference exhibition platform for the protagonists of PL food and non-food.
The event is aimed at operators from two related fields: on the one hand that of fresh products, to which the Marca Fresh format is dedicated, this year focused on innovation in the sector. The other area refers to the intermediate goods sector for the MDD supply chain, namely Packaging, Logistics, Raw Materials, Ingredients, Technology and Services. The eighth edition of Marca Tech is dedicated to all this.

The new entries

The technical committee of the 18th Marca by BolognaFiere www.marca.bolognafiere.it, in collaboration with the Modern Distribution Association, this year goes from 15 to 18 brands. In fact, the historical presences – among these, just to name a few, C3, Carrefour, Conad, Coop, Coralis, Crai, Despar, D.It – Distribuzione Italiana, Italy Discount – were added Ard Discount, Lekkerland and Birco Io. The latter brand specializes in DIY and greenery, among the new products included in the 2022 edition of the fair.
