After two years of forced stop, perhaps the most anticipated edition of Vinitaly 2022 edition is back at Veronafiere from 10 to 13 April. Review number 54 will see the participation of 4,400 companies from 19 countries, with an important presence of Italians.
In fact, the top buyers from 50 countries already accredited to the event are close to 700, led by the delegation from North America. A map, the one provided for the huge incoming plan created by the Veronese SpA and Ice Agency, which covers the most strategic areas from the Atlantic to the Pacific to Europe and, starting this year, also to Africa. A campaign that over the months has had to take into account both health developments and the unexpected geopolitical scenario.
For the president of Veronafiere, Maurizio Danese: “Strengthening the business at the fair, selecting operators and increasing the foreign share are the guidelines that will further engage the Verona fair in the medium term, obviously net of emergency contexts”.
Priorities also confirmed by Giovanni Mantovani, general manager of Veronafiere: “In these two years, with the companies, we have defined the Vinitaly outlook of the future. A strategic project that had its testing ground in the special edition of last October and that acts as a discriminator with respect to the past “.
