The 46th Hospitality – The Reception Hall ended on 24 March at the Riva del Garda exhibition center. The Italian fair dedicated to the hospitality and catering sector from 21 March for 4 days brought together Italian and foreign operators from the Ho.Re.Ca. world in the Trentino city.
This edition – the first in the post-pandemic presence – has achieved the goal of reuniting the entire hospitality supply chain. In fact, there were 481 exhibitors (of which 184 at their first participation), 12% from abroad, in particular Germany, Austria, France, Ireland, Belgium. The stands extended over 38,000 square meters and in 8 halls.
The number of visitors reached 15,000 units, despite the pandemic, the 2-month postponement compared to the usual placement in the calendar and the new midweek frequency by eliminating Sunday.
During the 46th Hospitality, more than 100 events were held including training, educational, masterclasses and show-cooking, 150 speakers including testimonials, guests and innovators of the sector.

Pending international certification

This is the comment by Roberto Pellegrini, president of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. On the final balance of the event: “We have invested to offer all operators the most innovative contents and tools in order to support them in the restart and in facing future challenges. Our commitment also continues to guarantee an increasingly innovative structure in line with the needs of exhibitors and visitors “.

On the different scan of the opening days of the 46th Hospitality https://hospitalityriva.it/it, said Alessandra Albarelli, general manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi: “The choice to open the event on Monday, instead of Sunday, proved to be a winner because it qualified the professional interaction between exhibitors and visitors, albeit to the detriment of the attendance of the public that the public holiday historically generated. The next goal is to obtain the certification of an international event and continue by strengthening the incoming of buyers from multiple countries “.

Also good for the new 2022, or the new Winescape area. In fact, 10 selected wineries participated in the space dedicated to wine tourism, one of which from abroad, combining wine production with a tourist offer with forms of hospitality in the vineyard.

The appointment with the 47th edition of Hospitality – The Reception Hall is in Riva del Garda from 6 to 9 February 2023.
