
Autolook Week Torino, a festival that celebrates motorsport and racing cars, will take place in Turin from 7 to 11 September, on the occasion of the Centenary of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza and the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The event was born from an idea of Andrea Levy, former organizer of the Salone dell’Auto Parco Valentino and MiMo Milano https://www.milanomonza.com Monza Motor Show, and Paolo D’Alessio, designer and cultural curator of Autolook Week Torino. The event will be supported by the Piedmont Region, the Municipality of Turin and Aci, the official link between Autolook Week and the Formula1 Monza Grand Prix.
The format was presented at Palazzo Madama during a press conference moderated by the Formula 1 journalist, Umberto Zapelloni.
On this occasion, Andrea Levy, also president of the organizing committee, underlined how this initiative celebrates motorsport and the exploits of its drivers with dynamic displays of Formula 1, rally, endurance and Moto GP cars. An event that is linked to the centenary celebrations of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. “It will be a great celebration for Turin and for visitors, who, through the passion that motor sports have always exercised, will involve young people and enthusiasts in a completely free event, outdoors in the beautiful streets of the city center”.
Kicking off with the Autolook Awards
Turin returns to the center of major motoring events, dedicating its streets and squares during this manifestation to the most epic and intense part of the history of four wheels, the sports one.
A 5-day festival that will offer the public a calendar with various events related to the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monza, in the year in which the Centenary of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza is celebrated.
The protagonists of Formula 1 will kick off Autolook Week Turin on 7 September with the Autolook Awards. A series of awards that will celebrate the way manufacturers communicate, without considering sporting merits.
A committee of professionals, Formula 1 journalists and exponents of the motorsport world was formed to decide what the awards will be.
A dynamic show
Autolook Week Torino will also have a dynamic soul, represented by the fashion shows that will enliven Via Roma, Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Castello every evening. A spirit that will bring the sounds and colors that have excited millions of fans from all over the world to the city center. The parades will constitute a calendar of evening events, which will coincide with one of the collateral initiatives in the program.
In fact, the fashion shows will coincide with the extraordinary openings of shops and clubs in the center that will welcome Turinese and tourists and will be organized in collaboration with ACI, with Autodromo di Monza and with Automobile Club Torino.
