A universal message rises from the Vicenza exhibition center, where “Give”, an imposing sculpture by Lorenzo Quinn, which will welcome visitors to Vicenzaoro 2022 from 17 to 21 March, has found a place since March 14.
Since its inception, the International Jewelery Show, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group, has dedicated space to art, design and creative contamination. Thus, on the occasion of this 2022 edition, the square in front of the entrance to the Vicenza fair hosts great “artist’s hands”.
The link between art and Vicenza is renewed
Give, one of the most iconic works signed by the son of the American actor Anthony, depicts the hand of a man joining that of a woman. A work created to emphasize the value of giving and the desire to convey a message of peace, symbolized by an olive tree. Olive trees will also outline the paths of visitors inside the fair pavilions.
According to Lorenzo Quinn, inspiration grew from the relationship between humanity, the world and in particular nature that he has always given and continues to give without expecting anything in return.
Give therefore focuses on a highly topical ideal and on central issues for IEG which, with Vicenzaoro 2022, www.vincenzaoro.com thus renews its deep bond with art and with the city of Vicenza.
In fact, at the end of the event, the installation will be moved to Piazza Matteotti, where it will remain until autumn so that the entire citizenry can enjoy the beauty of the works of art.
“Gaia”, the artist’s second installation dedicated to the precariousness of existence and flanked by a photographic exhibition, is instead hosted in Vicenza as part of the VioFf, the “outside fair” of the event.
VioFf is organized in collaboration with the municipal administration to best accommodate national and international visitors, enhancing the area and the excellence that characterize it with a cultural and entertainment offer, now an unmissable event on the days of the event.
