Mipel 121, organized with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the ICE Agency and the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, opens its doors from 13 to 15 March.
A debut that will take place in a complex international framework.
Franco Gabbrielli, of the event, in fact recalled in a note: “With this edition we hoped to return to see Russian and Ukrainian buyers too, but unfortunately this will not be the case due to international events. The ongoing conflict saddens and worries us and we hope that it can be resolved as soon as possible. In addition to the immense humanitarian tragedy, the war has serious economic implications for all the actors involved and the markets of each individual country. Precisely for this reason we hope for a rapid resolution that will help us to start all together again. In the meantime, we do not want to lose this opportunity to share, keeping the spotlight on our sector and its future “.

Four fairs in synergy

In synergy with Micam https://themicam.com/, The One Milano https://www.theonemilano.com/it/, and Homi Fashion & Jewels Exhibition https://www.homifashionjewels.com/, the event sees the spaces doubled in the Fiera Milano-Rho exhibition center. Over 4000 square meters – within Pavilions 1 and 3 – for an exhibition itinerary capable of offering a unique and detailed view of the FW2022 / 23 trends.
The creative format chosen for Mipel 121 https://mipel.com offers a strong reference to the world of art and avant-garde movements, with their renewing spirit.
Just like a cultural and artistic movement, the event will therefore have a programmatic manifesto that summarizes the fundamental values for its sector. A manifesto where there will be a recognizable brand identity, creativity in terms of style, sustainability for responsible and socially attentive production, craftsmanship that does not exclude entrepreneurship, digitization to embrace new means of communication and distribution.

The partnership with Mirta Wholesale is underway

Another novelty is the collaboration with Mirta Wholesale, a B2B portal that connects small luxury artisans with international boutiques, which will become the reference digital platform for the event, live from 1 to 25 March. In the spaces of Hall 3, Mipel 121 will dedicate an innovative and digital exhibition area of about 250 square meters to Mirta, where a selection of craftsmen present on the platform will be offered.
Gabbrielli comments on the collaboration thus: “We strongly wanted the partnership because we think it can add all the power of digital to the value of the tradition and craftsmanship of our Made in Italy companies. We are sure that this synergy will herald new and interesting opportunities for the associates “.
Another novelty of Mipel 121 is the return of the Scenario exhibition area, where new brands and the most sought-after realities of the accessories panorama find space.
The special area dedicated to the presentation of autumn-winter 2022/23 trends has been confirmed, as well as Mipel Square which will be animated by events and talks of interest for exhibitors and visitors.
