The international appointment Bologna Licensing Trade Fair / Kids, the only one dedicated to brands in the kids, teen and young adult sector, is back in attendance. In fact, the fair, organized by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, will be held from 21 to 24 March at the Bologna Fiere spaces, simultaneously with the trade event dedicated to the world publishing industry for children. and guys, for insiders only.
After a digital edition with numbers that attest to its success, the event therefore returns with the 15th edition in attendance with important returns among exhibitors, choosing Bologna as the first event in attendance after the pandemic.
Bologna Licensing Trade Fair / Kids will unite different categories of accredited participants (licensors, licensees, publishers) and will welcome some of the most well-known brands and properties on the market and recently born players, through a series of services and contents that make the event a fair one of a kind international.
The objective of the event, which combines the world of licensing with that of content for children, is to allow those who work in the kid sector to create business and network opportunities in the licensing market, finalize their purchase and sale. In addition to this, it also gives the opportunity to keep up-to-date on the trends of the publishing, digital & media, comics and kids entertainment markets in general.
Contrary to previous editions, this year Bologna Licensing Trade Fair / Kids will be an integral part of the children’s book fair, located in the center of the fair, in pavilion 25 for the exhibition part, and in the Gallery between halls 25 and 26 for the Business Lounge, the Private Meeting Rooms and the Licensing Conference Room.

Two spaces for the properties kids

In addition to the exhibition areas dedicated to companies wishing to present their brands, the Bologna event boasts the presence of two spaces dedicated respectively to two key realities for the development of properties in the kids sector.
This is the Licensing Retail Lounge, a space reserved for retail players. Inside, exhibitors can create opportunities for contact and business with retailers.
The Licensing Fashion Zone, on the other hand, is a matchmaking space between the world of fashion and the brands present at the Fair, with updates on the latest licensed fashion trends.
The second edition of the International Kids Licensing Day will also take place within the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair / Kids, (in attendance on 21 March after a first all-digital appointment on 24 February). It will be an entire day dedicated to the latest trends in Children’s Content & Licensing, during which the interventions of the main international players in the sector will alternate.
