At Fieramilano Rho from 22 to 24 February, Lineapelle edition 99 closes with a “reassuring” balance sheet, defined by the organizers.
The main business experience for the supply of leathers, materials, accessories, components for fashion and luxury, in fact hosted over 960 exhibitors (distributed in 6 halls) from 31 countries. In the stands more than 13,000 buyers, stylists, creative consultants, a sign of vitality for the entire supply chain, despite the awareness of the forced absence of Asian visitors. Entries from France, Spain, the United States, Turkey, Germany, the United Kingdom and Portugal are highlighted.
Gianni Russo, president of Lineapelle edition 99, commented on the numbers: “This edition, which presented the trends for Spring Summer 2023, confirmed its role of reference in the trade fair context of the fashion & luxury industry and has always represented a market more selective, oriented towards the search for the highest quality and maximum service “.
Characteristics that have resulted in the search for solutions based on the desire for a “return to freedom”, but also for the rediscovery of nature, beauty, quality and durability.
A “fair within a fair”
All the events – a real “fair within the fair” – were very popular and enriched the contents of Lineapelle edition 99 https://www.lineapelle-fair.it/it with an innovative vision from a green perspective.
Starting with “A New Point of Materials”, the second edition of the project that allows you to get to know the concretely green journey of leathers, textiles and technologies from the point of view of responsible innovation.
Interest in the samples of leathers, materials and accessories for summer 2023 exhibited in the 3 Trend areas and which were the protagonists of in-depth seminars.
Social interaction and sharing for the “Shift to Regenative Mobility” project, born from the collaboration between Lineapelle edition 99 and Hyundai Transys, which led to the development of a concept car with leather interior, an example of “regenerative mobility”.
Interest also in “Leather and its Circularity”, an exhibition of the main business projects related to the circular path of leather and Italian manufacturing.
Success also for the second edition of Mipel Lab, a trade fair and digital concept dedicated to leather goods sourcing promoted by Assopellettieri and Lineapelle.
