Compotec changes its name and becomes Compotec Marine 2022. The first fair in Italy entirely dedicated to the composite materials industry, will take place from 17 to 18 March at CarraraFiere.
With the sponsorship of the Tuscany Region, the International exhibition dedicated to composite materials and related technologies was created with the aim of bringing together manufacturers, distributors, industries, universities, research institutes, support organizations from the entire sector.
Since 2011, the event has been held simultaneously with Seatec 2022 https://sea-tec.it/, an international event reserved for technologies, subcontracting and design for boats, yachts and ships.
Focus on the nautical sector
After the forced interruption of last year, the appointment returns with a new name and a new goal. In fact, becoming Compotec Marine 2022, the exhibition focuses exclusively on the nautical sector, highlighting its increasingly close link with Seatec and with the nautical vocation of the Apuan-Versilian district.
CarraraFiere is convinced that this merger will be received with interest by the industry, the change will bring better business opportunities for exhibitors and visitors. The decision was made following a careful analysis of the market and keeping in mind the requests of many companies, in this way exhibitors are given the opportunity to broaden their contacts and reach new users.
Conferences and awards
The 2022 edition, as usual, will also host conferences and appointments with technical-scientific content with the participation of professionals and industries in the sector.
This year the conferences will involve highly topical issues for the nautical industry such as “Recycling and Reuse of materials”, “Nautical Design and Disability”, “Alternative fuels and eco-sustainable engines”, “State Concessions” (in collaboration with Assonat).
Now in its 18th edition, the Myda Award – Millennium Yacht Design Award will also take place during Compotec Marine 2022, dedicated to design studios and designers capable of making, through their creativity, contributions to the development and innovation of a pleasure boat , sailing or motor.
