Lamiera 2022 has decided to anticipate its development. In fact, the international exhibition dedicated to the machine tool industry for sheet metal deformation and innovative technologies related to the sector will take place at fieramilano Rho from 18 to 21 May.
The event is promoted by Ucimu-Sistemi Per Produrre, an association that brings together the Italian manufacturers of machine tools, robots and automation, and organized by Ceu-Centro Esposizioni Ucimu.
“In agreement with fieramilano – stated in a press release Alfredo Mariotti, general manager of UCIMU – we deemed it necessary to keep the event in the same period, that is to say the second half of May. Given the rapid return to normal standards that we have been witnessing in recent weeks, the increasingly widespread diffusion of vaccines and the experience we have now acquired from these two years of pandemic, we know that Lamiera 2022 will take place at a safe time for the ‘sanitary emergency”.
A calendar that is too “rich”
An advance of the calendar due to the need to reorganize the trade fairs hosted at fieramilano, after health conditions imposed the postponement of all events in the first quarter of 2022.
The presence, in May and June, of previously unplanned events, characterized by large space occupation and long set-up times, forced fieramilano to ask the organizers involved to think about new “joints”.
Lamiera 2022 therefore anticipates its development by seven days to ensure the correct organizational times for exhibitors. The event will be followed by the Salone del Mobile, scheduled for early June and which has an equally long set-up time.
With over 200 entries already collected, the fair aims to reconfirm the success of the previous two Lombard editions.
“The decision to move forward by a week – added Mariotti – involves an investment in terms of communication and promotion by the organizers of all the public involved: exhibitors, visitors, journalists. Investment that we are very happy to make, certain that our business will be able to minimize, if not completely eliminate, any inconvenience caused to the operators involved. The exhibiting companies will be able to count on an event rich in content, ideas and therefore visitors
