The news of the postponement of the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022 has been made official https://www.salonemilano.it which from 5 to 10 April moves to 7-12 June. This was decided by the board of directors of Federlegno Arredo Eventi, which voted to postpone the event, which this year will celebrate its sixtieth anniversary.
Numerous are the realities that had already joined the 2022 edition, which is to be carried out in the traditional way by archiving the experimentation – however positively evaluated – of the Supersalone.
The president of the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022, Maria Porro, commented on the change of date: “The decision to postpone the event will allow exhibitors, visitors, journalists and the entire international furniture and design community to make the most of and in complete safety the potential of an exhibition that this year will be full of news and which, in addition to celebrating an important birthday, will focus on the theme of sustainability, becoming the stage for the progress made in this area by creatives, designers and companies. The date of June will also favor a strong presence of foreign exhibitors and operators, which have always been the strong point of the Show, and will guarantee the participating companies the right time to plan their presence at the fair which, as we know, requires months of preparation. from conception to final installation. The desire for the Salone is getting stronger, which is why we are working on an event that will offer everyone the opportunity to experience a unique, concrete and exciting experience. We all have a great desire for the Salone ”.
The Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022 is considered one of the main events dedicated to furniture, known throughout the world also for the Fuorisalone collateral and the Design Week, which each year involve the entire Lombard capital.
The 2021 experiment of the Supersalone, the organizers want to return to tradition, especially since this edition will celebrate the 60th anniversary of its foundation.
The operators are now awaiting confirmation, with spaces and stands that were already largely assigned and sold.
