Progetto Fuoco 2022, promoted by Piemmeti, returns from 23 to 26 February 2022 at Verona Fiere.
To date, more than 90% of producers have already confirmed their presence at the international reference event for the sector, which aims to repeat the milestone of 60,000 visitors – 15,000 foreigners – of the last edition.
Raul Barbieri, general manager of Piemmeti confirms: “Memberships are at pre-pandemic levels: the measures adopted at the Verona Fair and those adopted by the Governments allow us to carry out an event in complete safety. The entrance regulations provide for the possession of the basic green-pass, the obligation to wear a mask and respect for social distancing. A buffer point will also be active at the fair “.
A changing market
After an early 2020, burdened by the lockdown, the sector returned to growth in the second half of the year, confirming the positive trend also in 2021. In Italy, the most represented appliances are appliances powered by firewood, followed by appliances powered by firewood. pellet. Wood chip appliances are not very common in terms of number of pieces and mainly involve larger boilers.
“Precious stimuli that come from a constantly innovating market – continues Raul Barbieri -. Progetto Fuoco’s path is oriented towards sustainability. Energy from biomass is renewable, economical and safe: to use it, the most important allies are technology and the desire to innovate “.
Between technology and innovation
Progetto Fuoco 2022 will focus on these issues, and the response for now is considerable.
Beyond the good response on the exhibitor front, recall activities have begun on visitors who are responding to the invitation to come to Verona, facilitated by the free shuttle buses from the Venice and Bergamo airports. “Add to this the relatively short distance and above all from the provisions of the Italian and European governments – underlines Barbieri – to guarantee the continuation of the exhibition activity. The ICE-ITA Agency is also organizing a mission of 50 qualified operators from the main markets of Italian production, confirming the attention that the institutions also reserve for the most important international event in this sector “.
In addition to the exhibitions, during the Verona project Progetto Fuoco 2022 there will also be space for conferences, workshops, practical demonstrations and training opportunities, distributed in 7 halls of the exhibition center, on an exhibition area of 130,000 square meters.
At the forefront, together with large companies, there will be young innovators and startups, who will find their place in the second edition of “Give Me Fire – Progetto Fuoco European Startup Award”, a challenge promoted by Progetto Fuoco and Blum.
During Progetto Fuoco 2022 there will also be a hackathon, a programming marathon in which young innovators will propose solutions to the problems posed by three leading companies in the sector: MCZ, Edilkamin and La Nordica-Extraflame.
