Mecspe 2021, the manufacturing fair, has restarted and is taking place at BolognaFiere until 25 November.
In its first Bolognese edition, the 19th organized by Senaf, the event pushes the accelerator on all aspects related to the restart of the manufacturing sector, linked in particular to the digitization and 4.0 transformation of businesses.
In fact, it is the first time of this fair in the setting of BolognaFiere, with which Senaf has entered into a collaboration that will allow it to grow and establish itself more and more as a leading international trade fair for the entire industry.
At the heart of this trade fair is the “Gamification: the factory without limits” initiative, created to showcase the best technological ideas and act as an engine for the most innovative solutions. It is the new concept of a factory, more advanced, more digital and on a human scale, capable of attracting the interest of young talents.
The numbers of the 2021 edition of the event are important. Ninety-two thousand square meters of exhibition space occupied by over 2,000 companies present, 2,000 square meters of the Cuore Mostra Fabbrica Senza Limiti, 46 special initiatives and conferences. At least 50,000 professional visitors are expected in safety.
There are many exhibitions in which Mecspe 2021 is divided. They range from Machines and Tools to Machines, materials and sheet metal working, to the Digital Factory, to Logistics to Control and Quality.
“The 2021 edition is fundamental, because companies are finally returning to meet live and this can only be the starting point for an important reflection on the changes in manufacturing, also in view of the PNRR funds” said Ivo Nardella, president of Senaf – New Techniques Group.
“We welcome Mecspe to BolognaFiere – said Antonio Bruzzone, general manager of BolognaFiere – with the hope that our Exhibition Center and its location will offer Mecspe 2021 further growth opportunities and an even greater opening towards international markets. BolognaFiere is characterized as a fair of excellence and industrial districts that have their world-leading events here, also for this reason it was natural to have Mecspe arrive in Bologna, in a context in which manufacturing is expressed transversally in all the industrial chains. Business, research, universities, training are the pillars of the manufacturing sector at a time of profound business transformation that will offer important professional opportunities for our young people, making our production fabric even more competitive “.
