From 19 to 21 November the Creattiva brand arrives in Rome for the first Creative Rome. In fact, the National Fair of Manual Arts reaches the capital for the first time, at the Ragusa OFF space (former ATAC depot in via Tuscolana 179).
Born in 2008 at the Bergamo Fair from an idea of Promoberg, who manages the Bergamo exhibition center, the Creattiva brand has managed to reach the most important fairs in the peninsula, thus transforming itself into a national event.
Carlo Conte, project manager and creator also of Roma Creattiva and operational director of Promoberg: “This year we decided to restart from the Bergamo edition (40 thousand visitors from 30 September to 3 October) and then cover the center-south with the traditional stage of Naples (16 thousand visitors from 12 to 14 November) and, for the first time, reach the capital with the debut in Rome. It wasn’t easy, with a 2-year stop behind him. Yet we have found in many passionate women around the peninsula a desire that has not been extinguished but strengthened by the long months of lockdown: the desire to create products with their own hands that can really speak about themselves, which constitutes the true spirit of Creattiva ” .
The audience of the event is predominantly female. Waiting for him at the Ragusa OFF space 65 exhibitors ready to present the latest news from the many sectors that are part of the world of manual arts: costume jewelery and beads, decoration, painting, decoupage and miniatures, soaps, woodworking and ceramics. In addition to the entire range of yarns, wools and fabrics: creative sewing, knitting, cross stitch, sewing machines, lace, felt, patchwork, quilting.
A total of 65 exhibitors will be present at Roma Creattiva, from 13 regions of Italy and from Poland, Spain, Ecuador, Malta and India.
Not only stands, but also many demonstrations and courses to get in touch with the materials, to learn the techniques live and to create new and personal masterpieces with your own hands.
They range from creative sewing to paper patterns, from the creation of brooches and scarves with jewels to the decoration of landscapes on a wooden trunk, passing through the creation of a clutch bag using an embroidery machine, the processing of different types of fabrics and crochet with pearls and modular elements.
