
From 23 to 28 November at Fiera Milano Rho the 78th edition of Eicma, the international exhibition of two wheels, will be the most important event for the sector.
To anticipate the news of the 2021 event, a press conference that took place on 11 November at the Auditorium Testori of the Lombardy Region in Milan. Five pavilions occupied by the 78th Eicma edition within the Rho exhibition center and over 820 brands present at this edition.
There will be news, previews, races and the show offered in the outdoor areas, with motorcycle test rides organized by the exhibitors.
An opportunity also addressed to eBike enthusiasts, who will be able to test the latest products from the world of pedal assisted bikes within a technical track created in Hall 24.
Finally, there is also space for start-ups and the future of mobility on two wheels in the special area dedicated to them, which this year welcomes 15 innovative international companies ready to propose ideas, solutions and prototypes.
The double b2b and b2c nature of the fair has been confirmed. The first two days of the 78th Eicma edition will in fact be reserved for the press and operators: on Tuesday 23rd the press day, while on Wednesday 24th there will be the simultaneous presence of journalists and sector operators. From Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 the opening to the public of fans will begin.
The international attractiveness of the event was also confirmed, with 47% of exhibitors from abroad representing 35 nations and the interest of thousands of industry operators and already accredited foreign journalists.
An edition that restarts, therefore, after the forced stop of last year.
Objective also recalled by the president Pietro Media, who reiterated the importance of the “physical” event: “We are increasingly convinced that it cannot be a virtual solution that completely replaces the visiting experience we bring to the stage with exhibitors who return to invest in this event. This is not the case for the general public, nor for the thousands of operators in the sector who are showing the desire to return to doing business live, especially in such a dynamic and interesting moment for our market “.
On the other hand, the president of Ancma, Paolo Magri, focused on the symbolic value of this 78th edition of Eicma: “Companies finally regain possession of their natural stage, where they can channel the fruit of the efforts made in this last period and transform them into new opportunities .
