From 26 to 28 November Cremona will be the seat of Fiere Zootecniche Cremona International Livestock, the only international zootechnical event dedicated to dairy cattle in Europe.
Massimo De Bellis, director of CremonaFiere: “The international exhibition calendar has undergone changes and cancellations. The current scenario sees Cremona as the only international event in which the best national and international genetic selection will be able to compete, highlighting even more the role that CremonaFiere has played in this last period of great difficulty for the entire breeding sector. Not only by finding new ways to remain alongside breeders in 2020, but by relaunching itself strongly for 2021, and in fact confirming itself as the only international livestock exhibition scheduled at European level. ”
Roberto Biloni president of CremonaFiere: “CremonaFiere restarted its trade fair calendar in September with international and national initiatives that have given operators great satisfaction. We are convinced that it is precisely at this moment that it is necessary to strongly relaunch, be protagonists and remain alongside the sectors we represent, for this reason with the Fiere Zootecniche we not only organize an international event, but we also propose a new format that is increasingly engaging and enhancement of the supply chain. To do this it is essential to collaborate with local and national institutions and to listen to the requests of breeders who consider CremonaFiere the natural place to be represented at an international level “.
To confirm the internationality of the event, this year Cremona will host the only event at European level which will present, together with a livestock exhibition, an auction of international standing.
A new scenario that increases the expectation for the next edition of the Cremonese event.
At the moment there are over 400 animals, coming from 70 farms, registered from Italy and abroad to participate in the international exhibition, which will see the expert Callum McKinven from Canada as judge.
Also from abroad, the auctioneer of the international auction, the Irishman Glyn Lucas, will arrive and will conduct a new auction formula, with an eye also to charity.
Internationality therefore remains one of the cornerstones of the Fiere Zootecniche, also thanks to the internationalization program that CremonaFiere has implemented in concert with ITA – Italian Trade Agency and the Lombardy Region, and which will see delegations of buyers from 15 countries arriving in Cremona. .
