Eima 2021 the event ended with results defined by the extraordinary organizers.
The certified data released by FederUnacoma and BolognaFiere indicate 270,700 visitors, of which 25,900 from abroad, who visited the fair from 19 to 23 October. An important success for an event that will return in November 2022, to then resume its natural biennial cadence.
A successful edition
The world exhibition of agricultural mechanics has therefore swept away any uncertainty related to the health emergency.
In fact, after the five days of the event, the exhibition ended with a result that makes Eima 2021 the event a top international event. And this not only in the particular sector of agricultural mechanics, but in the panorama of trade fairs in an absolute sense.
Not only the number of visitors is remarkable, but the quality of the public, made up largely of economic operators, interested in new products and the purchase of technologies suitable for the most diverse agricultural contexts.
The conference part of the review also performed well, with a total of 116 meetings and seminars on technical and political topics.
The opinions of FederUnacoma and BolognaFiere
“The event wanted to be staged this year, despite the inevitable defection of exhibitors and visitors from some countries that are still in a health emergency – is the comment of Alessandro Malavolti, president of FederUnacoma, which brings together Italian manufacturers and organizes the event – and despite the skepticism of all those who aimed to freeze it until November 2022. The data proved us right, and the 2022 edition will not be for us that of the “restart”, but that of the “reconfirmation”, the consecration of an event that gave an extraordinary show of strength in the most difficult year “.
Gianpiero Calzolari, president of BolognaFiere: “The results obtained by Eima 2021 the event also underline the importance of a very high-tech sector, strategic for the objectives that the green deal sets us. Agriculture plays a fundamental role in the ecological transition and the operators in this sector are the first protagonists. Agricultural machines are, today, essential tools for agriculture with an increasingly important role, as the event testified. A heartfelt compliment to FederUnacoma for the organizational commitment that led to this success “.
