
Emo Milano 2021, the world fair dedicated to the world of metalworking, ended on 9 October at the fieramilano Rho exhibition center.
Promoted by Cecimo, which brings together the machine tool industries at a European level, the event is organized by the operating structures of Ucimu-Sistemi Per Produrre, the association of Italian manufacturers of machine tools, robots and automation.
More than 60,000 visitors from 91 countries were registered at this edition.
Despite the mobility restrictions still in force, Emo Milano 2021 has confirmed its international character. Against a presence of foreign exhibitors equal to 60% of the total, foreign visitors were 30% of the total number. The offer, representing all the segments that make up the sector, expression of the production of over 700 companies exhibited in the 6 pavilions completely set up for the event, for 100,000 square meters of total exhibition area, was an attraction for the operators of the manufacturing industry worldwide.
Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Austria, Slovenia, Turkey, Poland, Russia and Denmark are the most represented nationalities at the event which saw the presence of numerous operators including various European and non-European countries.
Among the foreign visitors present are also included the over 30 qualified foreign operators of the missions organized by Ucimu-Sistemi Per Produrre in collaboration with Meci and ICE-Agenzia, in addition to 30 from the autonomous delegation from Turkey.
Alongside the technology offer, Emo Milano 2021 presented numerous collateral initiatives. Like Emo Digital, the exhibition area dedicated to digital technologies; Emo Additive Manufacturing, dedicated to one of the most promising sectors in terms of manufacturing production, Emo Start-Up which offered a look at the new companies engaged in the development of products and projects related to the world of production systems and metal processing.
New this year also the Speakers Corner, the arena set up in Pavilion 5 which offered over 80 speeches and insights by exhibitors and organizers.
The next edition of the event will be held in October 2027.
