The three days in Piacenza, in addition to representing the state of the art in the universe of lifting and transport, will devote special focus to the issue of safety and health in the workplace and accident prevention.
A choice made also in light of the recent commitments signed by the Government and trade unions on the subject of safety, which, in the immediate future, envisage the creation of a national accident database, the revision and strengthening of the training system for employees and entrepreneurs. , of the sanctioning rules to be applied following inspections, the rationalization of the structure of inspection responsibilities and the establishment of a single database of the sanctions applied.
The 8th edition GIS is not only the first exhibition-conference dedicated to the sector at a European level, but also the first at a global level that will take place entirely in person, after the post-pandemic restart.
In the 41 thousand square meters of the Piacenza center, associations, entrepreneurs and over 400 exhibitors including Italians and foreigners will offer a showcase dedicated to the new proposals. There will be technological innovations in the world of lifting materials, work at height, industrial and port handling and exceptional transport.
The “GIS by Night” debuts
Another novelty of the 2021 edition is the “GIS by Night”, a special evening calendar dedicated to exhibitors and their guests. Thematic catering and musical entertainment points will be located inside the pavilions of the Fair.
The “GIS by Night” is a novelty in the international scenario of specialist fairs and represents a further all-Italian challenge destined to increase the prestige of the Piacenza event.
