Also 38 th Cersaie www.cersaie.it/en returns to the Bologna exhibition center from 27 September to 1 October.
The 2021 edition of the world exhibition dedicated to ceramics, bathroom furnishings, architecture and design, occupies the entire 15 pavilions of BolognaFiere, where there are 623 exhibitors, 38% of which from abroad, from 28 countries. A participation that confirms the interest and attractiveness for the world event held every year in Bologna.
As scheduled, there is an articulated program of initiatives supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency, which marks the return of the physical fair in compliance with safety protocols.
Precisely to meet these needs, from July 38 th Cersaie and the city and regional institutions have created “Bologna Together with Cersaie”, a manifesto that brings together all the activities and services that are offered to Italian and international visitors in order to better organize and participation in safety

Conferences and awards

The first appointment on the agenda is the 38 th Cersaie inaugural conference, at the Europauditorium of the Palazzo dei Congressi, dedicated to “Sustainability, energy transition and international competition for our made in Italy”. The speeches also include those of the Minister of Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti, the President of the Emilia-Romagna Region Stefano Bonaccini, the President of Unicredit Pier Carlo Padoan and the President of Confindustria Ceramica Giovanni Savorani.

Alongside the conference part, there is also the one dedicated to exhibitions. In the context of “building, living, thinking”, the first exhibition dedicated to the projects of the group of young architects involved by Renzo Piano in the G124 project is set up.
The exhibition “G124 Renzo Piano: mending the suburbs. A journey through the Italian suburbs “, set up inside the Contract Hall, in Pavilion 18, presents a selection of projects carried out since 2014 with a focus on those now under construction in Modena, Padua and Palermo.
Inside Pavilion 18 of 38 th Cersaie, alongside G124 Renzo Piano, the exhibitions dedicated to “La Ceramica e il Progetto” and the “Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition”, the architecture competitions of the Italian ceramic industry, are set up. and Cersaie which reward the best architectures made with Italian ceramic tiles in Italy and North America respectively.

The Contract Hall in Pad. 18 is also the place where the ADI prizes will be awarded on 29 September. The first is the ADI Ceramics and Bathroom Design Award, assigned to the most innovative Italian products in the ceramic and bathroom furnishing sectors. The ADI Booth Design Award, on the other hand, is intended for exhibition stands that best promote the product and brand of the exhibiting companies within 38 th Cersaie
