The restart of the exhibition sector in the logic of the system and the importance of the sector for the national strategic economic system were the themes at the center of the online meeting which took place on 22 September between the Minister of Tourism Massimo Garavaglia, Roberto Biloni and Massimo De Bellis , respectively president and general manager of Cremona Fiere. The meeting was also attended by the mayor of Cremona Gianluca Galimberti, the extraordinary commissioner of the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona Gian Domenico Auricchio and the vice president of the province of Cremona Giovanni Gagliardi.

During the meeting, Minister Garavaglia promised his presence at the 2021 edition of the Cremona International Livestock Fairs, scheduled from 26 to 28 November, recognizing the fundamental role of events of this magnitude in the panorama national and international. “I believe that the enhancement of the supply chain is fundamental, and I congratulate Cremona and Cremona Fiere for having always given continuity to the event by playing the role of reference point for the sector, for the actors involved and for the important related activities”.

During the meeting, the issues of the importance of enhancing the value of fairs and creating a system in the territories, considered as fundamental elements for the recovery, were also addressed.
Cremona stands out for the synergistic actions between public institutions and the fair, but also for the strategic vision that these players have given.
The institutions have worked alongside universities and research centers to bring more and more added value to the sectors of reference, agro-zootechnical and musical.
Cremona Fiere has studied and is implementing innovative formats and a development plan that does not only concern the exhibition center, but the territory and excellence.

The exponents of the territory and the Cremona fair represented the shared strategies to the minister, which take the form of synergistic actions to fuel the high specialization and internationalization of the activities at the fair, but also in the territory.

Garavaglia confirmed the importance of a shared approach in the territories, but also with the institutions, thus reiterating that he is at the side of the fair for this important recovery, and also for this reason he will be present at the Cremona International Livestock Fairs next November.
